Hey! I am applying for my schools nursing program for next semester and required to take the TEAS. My school's requirements are a 3.5 GPA of prerequisites as well as a 75 or above on the TEAS test to get in. If the applicant has taken all of the prerequisites at the same university and fits both of those categories, they are automatically accepted into the nursing program. Seemed like a piece of cake to me! Until I started studying for the TEAS and was brought back to my SATs, which I took 2 years ago before they implicated the new SAT format.I got a 1390 (out of 2400) on the SATs, which was below average with a GPA of 3.9. As you can see, I have a history of sucking at standardized tests and as I have started to study for the TEAS, the anxiety of standardized testing is back. I currently have a 3.6 GPA in college, but I credit that to mere studying. I guess my question is, how worried should I be about the TEAS when I am not good at standardized testing to begin with? How hard is it really to score a 75?
