  1. Thank you! oh WOW!! OK. that's huge news! Yeah were still being pushed through!...not sure how its all gonna play out to be honest. and I'm not sure they know either...hoping for the best!
  2. Hi there, I was waitlisted for the May 2020 cohort, and declined, but emailing to see if I can still be considered... Just curious.. would you mind sharing with me how they're handling the COVID situation? I got accepted in Kentucky for an ABSN and were going to be online for the first 8 weeks, with a prospective in-person start date of June 29. Clinicals for the first 8 weeks have been pushed to remainder of the year, and didactic learning has been moved forward. Any info would be great! Trying to see what style of learning would best suit me! Feel free to email me! [email protected] Thanks! Best of luck to everyone! (and anyone feel free to respond to this!) April
  3. Hi Jen- Portage Learning is what I'm using for pathophysiology... if you still have while before you start, you have plenty of time to take the classes online. They're mostly self-paced. I think there are 3 options for schools/programs...but yes reach out to Bellarmine.. I'm not sure if the online classes are an option for the two year program. I start the Accel program next month.... best of luck to you! April
  4. Thank you! Yes from what it sounds like, they’re front-loading the theory, and pushing clinicals out and we will still graduate on time. Sorry to hear it’s been tough! But that’s awesome that everyone has a job lined up! That’s really good news! Do you feel like you’re well prepared to be an RN? I’m going to have to be ready to hit the ground running in June to move in time before the next session starts! How were clinicals?!? Fun? Scary? Haha I’ve worked in hospitals quite a bit as a phlebotomist, mostly in ERs/Level 2 trauma centers, so I feel like I’ll be OK! :) CONGRATS to you too!! It’s almost over!! Woohoo!!
  5. @EBP_RN thank you for all this info! much appreciated! I'm assuming you're in the cohort that just got moved to online classes due to COVID... how has then been? I'm due to start this May and so far, our first 8 Weeks will be entirely online... I'm not even moving from California until late June, as per their suggestion. We are pushing our 180 hours of clinicals to the remainder of the year somehow, which makes me a bit nervous... I guess all we can do is see how it pans out. Interested to hear how the transition has been for you guys..I can't imagine going though this at the end of school.. sounds awful, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. Hope things are well!
  6. I called a few days ago to ask and was told Mid-February
  7. Hey Guys! Thought I'd drop in. I applied for the May 2020 start date for the ABPNN @ UROC. I sent in my application really early...like Mid-September, so Nancy Kita called me to set-up an interview about a week later. Everything went well, and she said that they will be getting back to us 10-12 weeks after application due date (November 2019) which is around late Jan, early Feb. Hopefully they stick to that! I'll be moving from California, and will need to do all financial stuff as well. If anyone has any good start suggestions for student loans, let me know! Haven't had to get one yet, so I don't really know where to start! Good luck to everyone!
  8. I applied for May 2020. I submitted my application late September, interviewed in October and was told by Nancy Kita that decisions won’t be made until January or February 2020.
  9. They must have a thing for well-rounded students ? that's refreshing! My GPA wasn't the best either...2.9 cumulative, 3.8 for the last 60 units or so, and about a 3.0 for prerequisites. I was a CNA for a year, have been a physical therapy aide for 3.5 years, and am currently a phlebotomist in a trauma center, and have been for about a year now. I have also worked with autistic children in a behavioral therapy position. I feel like my life expereinces have challenged me and allowed me to learn so much! Specially working with just about every age of the population. ? best of luck to all in the program! hopefully ill be joining you in May!
  10. like GPA, work experience, etc... what made you a competitive applicant? always fun to hear others backgrounds!!
  11. Would those of you who've been accepted mind sharing your stats?? ?
  12. No, I actually applied for the May start date, so I’ll be waiting a bit! Just wanted to share some love! Hoping for maybe an early decision or to be bumped to January!! That would be ideal!
  13. CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!!! All that waiting paid off!!! Praise God! ??❤️ Get your flash cards ready!!!! You’re in for a wild ride!!!! Good luck to all. I’m so happy for you!
  14. Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately I didn’t make the cut. best of luck to you all! :)
