Thank you for your comment. I am 24 years from Ireland. It is quite difficult to find courses here. Agency is quite difficult as you have to go to certain wards that you have no experience in. I have heard of nurses working for insurance companies but am not sure what this involves. Also I have been researching nursing tutors and health instructor/coaching.
  2. Thank you chocholic1. I have never been that happy on the ward settings. My friend has mentioned Nurse Lecturing so I will have to research into that. I have never heard of a scheduler before.
  3. Thank you. I have a BSC in General Nursing. I have never heard of case management but will look into this. There is very little guidance for nurses when qualified in relation to career progression or different pathways to take.
  4. I have been nursing for over 2 years now. I currently work for an agency company. I do not enjoy agency anymore as I am not happy in the hospital setting due to the extreme shortage of staffing, pressure etc. I hurt my back a few years ago and have been advised to branch out of the hospital setting. I have heard a few nurses branched into med rep, phlebotomy etc. Any advice/ideas would be appreciated.
