Back blow*...baby was choking on water she splashed up (at the time the water didn't "seem" that deep)

Hi guys, Im a Nurse (RN) who graduated school and ended up getting pregnant and staying home/not practicing once my education, license, etc. was all done. (My choice, I wanted to stay with my baby). Prior to that I worked shortly as an EMT in an Urgent Care Clinic. Today I was with a woman who's baby was playing in the water and splashed up some water that made her choke. Her eyes started to roll back...Her mom picked her up and I told her-did she swallow water? Instead of giving her some back thrusts (OBVIOUSLY) I guess I just kinda blanked...and the woman ran for the lifeguard. It was such an easy "save". I feel like I am so stupid. Im starting to think that maybe I cant think in the moment...and wouldnt be a good nurse if I ever went back into the field and reactivated my license. Can anyone give me some insight? I feel like this woman must think Im a moron (she doesnt, I just got into my car feeling like a moron lol)
