  1. Is anyone else doing nursing purely to become a midwife? I'm currently doing my bachelor of nursing. I'm not interested in the nursing side and I am very weak when it comes to wounds ect. Im very passionate about the midwifery side however. Has anyone else ever felt this way? Have you been afraid of blood and wounds ect? The thought of having to work as a nurse makes me sick, although I don't know if I can walk away from the midwifery side. Straight midwifery is not an option because of the area I live in. Has anyone else felt this way and overcome it?
  2. I am only first year. I just feel like all the other students seem so passionate about it and are really enjoying the course. I don't know if it's normal for me to not be liking it or not interested in it
  3. Hi, Im currently doing my bachelor of nursing to become a midwife although I'm not sure it's for me. I am so passionate about the midwifery side although I have zero interest in becoming a nurse. My area I live I can not be a midwife only so that's not an option. im not interested in any of the content so far, I feel so bored learning it. I can't stand wounds, blood ect. I don't want to work as a nurse and now I'm just thinking am I doing the wrong thing doing it to become a midwife? Did anyone ever feel like this?
