Anyone heard of Nurseloop?
This is immensely helpful information! I never did sign on with them and instead went with a position as a staff nurse at a local hospital. I guess if I feel the need to pick up PRN positions in the future I may keep them in mind or look for a different company. Thanks so much for the background info and for sharing your experience!

CA RN License by Endorsement
It's been a really weird experience in CA. Lots of unnecessary stress and I feel like...the reviewers are also probably sick of the endless phone calls and emails so it's probably also to their benefit to improve the system, but what can I say. I think my FL license took all of 3 days. It is a little crazy how much variation there is across the states.

CA RN License by Endorsement
Thanks, my issue was that I had psychology and cultural diversity on my transcripts and they still mentioned I needed social science. But it's been resolved.

CA BON- I need some help
Hi, question for you. I'm in the same boat as the original poster except I just submitted my RN application by endorsement and was told I was deficient in "social science" as a blanket statement. I assume it actually means only sociology, as I have plenty of social science courses on my transcript. If I take the sociology course at study.com, can I request them to send transcripts directly to the CA BON? Will these get accepted?

CA RN License by Endorsement
Anyone have experience applying for a CA RN license by endorsement? I just got my application back saying I need to send them a transcript showing "social sciences." I don't know what this means. The letter doesn't elaborate any further and I can't find information on the BON website. I went to a 4 year university in the US, have a Bachelor's in Biology and a second Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited school. I assumed that social science was part of our pre-reqs? I also don't know if they're talking about university courses (and how many credits) or CEUs? Can anyone help?

Anyone heard of Nurseloop?
Thanks, that's kind of what I'm thinking too. Indeed keeps advertising them but it's just weird to not have any reviews. They do have a website but my interaction with the recruiter/HR left me feeling kind of weird.

Anyone heard of Nurseloop?
I'm in California and the other day a staffing company "hired me." While I did apply using a job engine, the way they reached out to me and offered me a position seemed a little unusual. There was no interview or background screening questions. I can't find any reviews of the company online. Does anyone have experience with them and can vouch that they are a legitimate company? I feel weird sending in my credentials without knowing anything about them.

CA RN Endorsement Application
Oh weird. I applied for an actual license and then spent the $100 for a temporary application because apparently that one is faster and allows you to work. If I had known they just give those out I would have saved the $100 ?

CA RN Endorsement Application
Currently waiting for the CA BON to look at my application. Did you apply for a temporary license as well?

3 P's
Thanks! I found a school. I called around and realized a lot of programs have the option to enroll as a non-degree seeking student so I did it that way and was able to register for courses I needed.

3 P's
Hey guys, I'm currently in a BSN-PhD program in Florida. The first 2 years of the program involve taking all PhD courses. The last year is supposed to be Master-level courses and clinicals. Currently in year 2. My husband is in his last year of medical school and it's looking like he is going to match to a non-Florida residency program. I asked if I could change around the order of my classes so that I would be able to move with him. My administration told me to do that, I needed to take the 3 P's: Advanced Clinical Assessment, Patho, and Pharm by this summer. The only course I still need is pharm, but my program doesn't offer it until later on in the year. They told me I could reach out to other programs to take a comparable pharm course and transfer it back. Does anyone know of nursing programs (preferably online) that let you take just one of the 3 Ps? I've called around (Chamberlain, Walden, Regis) but they don't do that. If I don't end up taking taking pharm this summer, I wouldn't be able to start clinicals until next fall and would then have to spent the year apart from hubby and baby girl or fly back and forth. Both those options sound awful. Any advice would be great!

University of Miami FNP Spring 2018
Hi, I know this is an old post but I was just wondering whether any of you were recent BSN graduates when you applied to UM. I'm currently in an accelerated BSN program and would love to start the FNP at UM pretty much as soon as I can after getting the RN (I do plan to work part-time while in the program), but I'm not sure how they look at recent graduates. My GPA is fine (3.7-3.8), I have some volunteer hours, have been involved in clinical research and worked as an MA for a year prior to the BSN. Thank you!

FIU Accelerated program Spring 2018
I see. So you could be hanging out there for a few hours without actually speaking with somebody. Makes sense.

FIU Accelerated program Spring 2018
Hi guys! Good luck to everyone interviewing! I was just wondering if you had any ideas how the interviews were constructed. Is this going to be one-on-one or group interview? I saw that it's a long day and they did say to bring lunch.

University of Miami Accelerated BSN spring 2018
Hi guys, Congrats to everyone who got in! I was just wondering what you guys are planning on doing for financial aid. I just finished filling out my FAFSA and I guess will plan to meet with someone at financial aid at the university to see what my options are. Also, did anyone apply to FIU? Their ABSN program is $12,800 for the same 3 semesters. I'm not sure how the quality of their program compares to UM though, and if anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated.
