I am not sure about the exact date. Iam confused until now.. It was just oct 6 when i checked my nmc account and saw that my documents were tagged as received. Did they tell you that you start on queue on oct 9? Or are there any dates posted on the portal?

I am just about to process my DL. Good for your, you'll be going to UK this year. I am just quite worried of ctn because of delay in deployment due to difficulty of finding placements. I have heard some that they will just start finding placements for you after you receive your DL. Hehe
