  1. Came across this thread while searching the LPN program for 2018. Is anyone in the program? & if so can you tell me what you all scored on the TEAS? I scored a 78.7 (85th percentile) but am thinking about retaking it for a higher score. Maybe you guys could tell me where I fall considering the scores that were accepted this current year? Thank you!
  2. I'm telling you guys, they are gonna wait until the last week, last day! Lol
  3. Good luck ladies! Hopefully we all get in ! I'm thinking this week we will get them as well.
  4. Nervousros it sounds like we're in the same boat. I don't want to wait a whole year myself! You are far out there. Have you looked into schools around Macon area? Are you willing to relocate or are you going to make that drive back and forth??
  5. Yes , we can take it once a semester. If I go through with their LPN program I plan to retake it after I complete that program...
  6. Where are you looking? Are you trying to stay in a specific area?
  7. Yes it was sooo random! I did not have any A&P on mine but I had questions about the Earths mantle and different types of rocks. Go figure! Don't be discouraged you weren't the only one who didnt crack it the first time!
  8. Nervousros that's a good question...
  9. That's a great NLN score! For me, I also think I used the wrong study guide for the test. The ones you guys used was NOT AT ALL what I used lol. Thank you guys for all of your positive input! I will look into applying to CVCC as well if I don't get into the other nursing program. Someone told me about a school named Southern Union? They said they have spring and fall ASN programs. Never heard of their program but I will look into it as well... when will they send out letters for CTech, do you guys know?
  10. Well I've already applied to Southern Crescent in Griffin, but I'm thinking about just applying for the LPN program in the summer.... maybe. Because I have all of my prereqs done for the ASN programs already I don't want to just sit and wait around for another year until I can apply again... I figure once I get my LPN I can just bridge for my ASN.. better to be in any program than to just sit around and wait! That's the great thing about nursing; there are so many paths you can take!
  11. The NLN was another animal. Lol nothing like the TEAS at all... seemed to be more random. You don't know what question they will throw at you next. I ran out of time in the verbal section. They give you 40 minutes to answer 60 questions. The math was pretty easy (I like math) and I had little A&P on my test. More life science, biology, and physics than anything. Little chemistry. Just make sure you know a little about every topic! I made below the requirement unfortunately, 120. But best of luck to you guys! I will still follow the thread to see how you guys do!!!
  12. Lol! Okay so I checked online, and I see scores that says RN Applicants & PN Applicants... but I don't see anything that shows how many questions I got right in each section or anything. Soooo.... not sure what I'm looking at. Lol
  13. Update: So I took the NLN.... however I'm not sure what my scores are. How do you check your results online? I'm not seeing my raw scores or anything...
  14. SaTyAaZo you are giving me all kinds of good vibes! Lol I love your attitude. Yes, I hope we all get accepted into the program this year as well. I would love to meet you guys! You are def getting in with that 153! And Nervousros your GPA is very good. I'm going to tell you all about the NLN come Friday so you can prepare even more.
