  1. Hello, I'm sophomore nursing student and I was thinking about auditioning for the musical at my college. But do you guys think that it would be too much of a commitment if I tried? I haven't joined any clubs or did anything my first year and just focused on school, should I just continue the?
  2. Thank you guys! :)
  3. Hello, I just started my second year of nursing school. I started my Nurse 201 classes and I just have a question about the reading. I heard that there was going to be a lot of reading so i expected it but it's only the first week and i already feel overwhelmed. My reading list currently is: Nursing: Chapters 1-4, 23, 26 & 28 Patho: Chapters 1 and 2 Micro- Lecture PPT 1 and 2 Individual health assessment: Chapters 5-8 Now I have to read these text over the weekend, but as you can see, it's a lot. This is in addition to homework assignments such as papers and practice test. I know that there is a 'smart way' to read and I was just wondering if anybody has any tips?
  4. Okay guys, someone explain this. I went to bed last night around 11. I had a busy day, got a cat scan (with contrast), hung out with some friends, but I felt fine. I wake up around 3 in the morning and lymph nodes are swollen. And when I say swollen I mean I couldn't even look down swollen. I went to hospital, no fever, sore throat, nausea, nothing. No high blood pressure. The only problem was my lymph nodes. The inflammation went down however they started to hurt. Kinda like a burning feelng up to my ear. Doctor checked me. No strep throat or ear infection. She chalked it up to pharyngitis. Sent me home with amacillan and motrin. My LN still hurt but I'm really fine other than that. What do you guys think? What could be the reason behind this odd, random inflamation?
  5. Hello :) I am a incoming sophomore in Nursing school and I just had a question about A&P. I took A&P I and II last year and did fairly okay (B+ and a B-), and in the upcoming semester I will be going into patho and clinicals. I unfortunately don't think I retained a lot of the information I would've liked over the summer from those classes and I'm a bit worried. I just wanted to know if there's some kind of refresher video or games I can play before going into my upcoming classes? Or should I really not worry about forgetting some things in A&P because I just started my nursing school journey? Thanks!
