  1. Oh, good, glad you found it! Disregard my last message then lol
  2. hmmm... that's odd... a couple others have found it. Don't include the quotations marks. Try just JTCC Nursing and make sure you are looking under group pages.
  3. Hey guys... I thought it might be nice to have a more private forum to ask questions and get to know each other throughout the orientation process, so I created a facebook page specifically for our graduating class. I figured we could also use the page as we progress through the program if we have questions about assignments, want to schedule study groups, etc. If anyone wants to join the facebook group, you should be able to find it by searching for "JTCC Nursing - Class of (Fall) 2019." Let me know if you all have any difficulties finding it. :-) Can't wait to meet you all! - Sarah
  4. I still haven't received anything... I'm wondering now if they are sending them out in the order that we submitted our applications, since they don't seem to be sending them in order of TEAS score or alphabetically. If they are submitting them in order of submission, I'm in for the long haul... I didn't submit my app until the day before the application closed. *sigh*
  5. I don't know... But I'm starting to think they are going to make us wait ANOTHER day í ½í¸¡
  6. I don't think they are doing it alphabetically... My last name starts with a C and I haven't heard anything
  7. Hang in there! We've still got hours to go before the end of the day and they seem to be moving very slowly. High 70s isn't far off at all from 80 :)
  8. No email for me yet... My teas was a 92 national percentile, but I'd be receiving a conditional acceptance... Maybe they send out the conditional acceptances last?
  9. I honestly think they are waiting to notify us until Monday... They notified people the past two application periods (last spring and the previous fall) on a Monday. I'm just grateful I have to work today.... It keeps me from checking my email compulsively lol
  10. I will post as soon as I hear, as well! Fingers crossed that we all receive great news today!!
  11. I finally got the nerve up to call and ask for an update on when we should expect to hear (and to try to fish for information on how many applications there were this time around) but I've been receiving the busy signal all day! I wonder if they took the phone off the hook because they were receiving too many calls? I thought for sure we were going to hear today since the school was closed yesterday for founder's day...
  12. Hello! I applied to both the hybrid and traditional tracks, although the hybrid is my first choice. My TEAS score was a 83 (92 percentile.) I literally took the TEAS test for the first time the day before the application closed... it was a last minute decision to apply to John Tyler for spring 2018 so I think I did decently but I wish my science scores were higher! It's been over a decade since I took a science class (taking A&P this semester online.) If I don't get in, I'm going to try for VCU's accelerated BSN program for next summer... thankfully they don't require the TEAS test. :) Has anyone else heard a rumor that in a previous year John Tyler didn't accept anyone that scored below a 90 on the TEAS? Someone brought that up during the mandatory information session we had to attend and the Nursing Director didn't deny (or confirm) it. It has me a bit alarmed though!
