A day in the life of a SRNA
FLAreN, I can not thank-you enough for your reply. You get to go to school, spend time with your kids and even post here. WOW!!! Hands down to you:bow:. You rock. I do know a few people in the program and the interview does not sound that bad. They ask you basic personal info but nothing clinical. The hard part is knowing that after the interview the decision will be made if you go or not. I want this more then anything!!! I have been an ICU nurse for over eight years and have been a nurse for 11. I am already 34 and want to be working as a CRNA by the time I am 38. I only applied to one school so my fingers are crossed. If you have time, I would to hear about your interview. These boards have been an obsession of mine for a while now. Best of luck in school. mocha12

A day in the life of a SRNA
FLAreN You rock. I have an interview for school in 8 days. I can't wait. I was just worried that if I got in I would miss my family tooo much. My kids would be 5 and 10 when I start. If you can do it with two and one being an infant, hats off to you. You will be my inspiration. Thanks. Anything you can add to the subject of school with kids would be great. I love :redbeathereading these posts. Are there other students (moms) with kids? Thanks, mocha12

Jen, Thanks for the reply. I just got a phone call today :yeah:for the June interview. What was the interview like. How are you able find out if they have a great reputation? This is the only school I applied to and it is also the closest to my house. Only 45 min away. The program will actually be good for me to satrt on 2010 because my little guy will be kindergarten by then. Any information would be wonderful. Do you know where you are going? Good luck! mocha12

Lasalle, Montgomery Hosp. Program??
Hi, I was looking for information on the LaSalle/ Frank J. Tornetta Montgomery Hospital program. Has anyone gone through or know somebody who has. I applied and I am waiting for my call (hopefully) for an interview. I was also wondering how you know if the program is good or not? There board pass rates are good, is that a good indicator? Any information is helpful. TIA mocha12

Had my interview Figured u guys would be interested :P
Thanks for the encouraging words. I am a critical care nurse toying with the idea of CRNA school. I am torn between working my butt off or spending time with my family, my burning passion is to be in OR doing what I know best, (helping people) in a high intensity setting. I would love to be more incharge and call the shots instead of always taking them. Wish me luck.
