  1. 16.50 sounds extremely low. Are you working as a cna or lpn?
  2. Where are you located in us? Also do you visit their homes or do you work at a hospital.
  3. I am looking online at salary websites and forums to get an idea of what I can expect in this specialty. How much are you guys making? Do any of you guys make 40+ an hour? Do you guys get benefits with the agencies you work for- retirement/health insurance... ?

  5. What state do you live in?
  6. Well what if I refuse to take the drug test? It's so dumb imo that this is an issue. But have you ever been randomly drug tested?
  7. I am prescribed medical marijuana for sleep aid. I was wondering what the general consensus was regarding drug testing policies. I expect to be drug tested upon hiring, as this has been the case when I worked in a hospital setting. However I want transition into home health hospice care. Can you guys share with me your personal experience with random drug testing? I am not an experienced nurse. My doctor could put me back on ambien but that stuff gave me intense headaches. Thanks
  8. I am a male looking to get into hospice care but I am curious about the work hours in this specialty. I have seen posts in this saying easily 50-60 hours a week. I find this gross. Are there any hospice nurses that work 36-40? Moreover can you have a say as to how much you wish to work? Also where do hospice nurses tend to work more, home visits or hospital? Any input would be appreciated.
