Hi! My name is Jillian and I am about to start my very first semester of nursing school... AND I AM TERRIFIED! I just had my orientation today, and it did not ease my worries. Let me give you a bit of background on myself. I entered college as a sophomore and I was done with my lower division classes within one year instead of two. Due to this, I feel as though I did not have time to prepare myself for what I am about to go through. SO many questions are running through my head. What's are the classes like? Will I be able to understand everything? What if I forget the important material? One of my biggest fears is clinicals. I have absolutely NO idea what to expect. What do they expect me to do when I feel as though I know nothing? I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, but my anxiety is through the roof. I do not want to look stupid in front of everyone. I guess what I am asking is what should I expect clinicals to be like my first semester of Nursing school? I know this post is all over the place but I am sitting here overthinking EVERYTHING and I would love some reassurance. Thank you to anyone who reads this and I hope you guys don't think I'm crazy haha.
