  1. When do we find out our clinical site?
  2. Did anyone get called off the waitlist yet?
  3. I think it will be next Friday because they said at the end of the first full week of September. It would be a pleasant surprise if it is tomorrow though.
  4. If we are accepted, how soon do we need proof of our BLS? I haven’t taken a class yet and didn’t know if I should wait to find out if I’m accepted first.
  5. So I’m confused what the highlighted part is referring to then. What is the application semester is? Thank you and good luck to you as well!
  6. Hey I have a question about the P/P. If I took Patho already and got an A, will I get the consideration if I’m taking Pharm in the fall?
  7. I guess we have to wait until tomorrow í ½í¸•
  8. Do you think they would let us know during spring break?
  9. Oh you should be fine!!! I can't imagine anyone with 60+ points not getting in lol. I hope we find out before spring break so we don't have to wait an extra week.
  10. That's exactly what I had to do to apply this time around. Hope it works for both of us!!!
  11. If we don't find out before spring break, does that mean we have to wait until classes resume?
  12. Yea no problem Nursing GPA: 4.0 (last time around it was 3.72) TEAS total score: 88 Reading: 100 Math: 90 Science: 85.4 English: 76.7 Total points: 52.03
  13. I think that 44.8 was for the Houston program. I applied for the Dallas program for Spring 2018 and I was waitlisted with around 47 points. I retook my nutrition class over winter semester to make myself more competitive for this application period.
  14. Hey congrats to everyone that got in!!! I am still waiting to find out for the traditional Dallas program. Would the people that got accepted to the Nights/Weekends program mind posting your points? I know for me it helped going back to previous years and see what kind of scores were accepted. Thanks and best of luck to everyone!!!!
  15. That's awesome! I have a similar plan myself. I would love to work in surgery, ICU, or neuro while being a RN. After I earn my BSN, I want to get certified in critical care and go for my DNP to become a CRNA as well. Anesthesia is something I have been interested in for some time. I worked as a pharmacy technician when I lived in Chicago at a level 1 trauma center. Going into the OR rooms and filling up the anesthesia workstations was fun because we had to get dressed in full ppe. What CRNA programs have you looked into?
  16. I submitted my application on 1/24 and got the email on 2/1. Also, my last name starts with W.
  17. I don't think it's going in alphabetical order this time. I also received that email and my last name starts with W.
  18. I am wait-listed as well for Dallas. How did you find out where you land on the list? I called and they told me they wouldn't have that information until the end of the week.
  19. Hi everyone! I applied for the Spring 2018 traditional program. I had a question about one of my prerequisites. I took Gen Chem over 10 years ago and got a C in the lab and the class. I took the class again in 2015 and got an A in both the lab and lecture. When I had an advising appointment, I realized they put in the C grades to figure my points in the Excel document. Will the newer Chemistry class not count? I'm hoping they take the newer class because I did way better in that class. Just want to know so I can tell where I stand. Need all my points since I don't have any bumps.
