I am sorry I should have made it more clear. I am debating which route to start my nursing career. I have option to reclass to 68C which is an year long vs AECP to become a BSN which is 2 years. I meet all the requirements for 68C and can submit my paper works and guaranteed to go school. Whereas AECP I still have few pre-req needs to be completed also it is not a guaranteed after I apply. What I am trying figure out is if there is any MOS obligation as 68C, if there isn't might as well go 68C and do AECP feel like this way I am not risking wasting years waiting to get picked up also I will have experience as a nurse.

Hello, I am an active duty army. Currently a 68Q pharmacy specialist. I'm thinking to change my career path to nursing. If I switch to 68C will there be service obligation as 68C? For example if I finish 68C course will I be able to apply to any commissioning program right away? or are there few years before I can get to that. Thank you
