  1. Thank you I think that is what I am going to have to do as every time I pick a topic I end up changing for one reason or another! Definitely to many ideas and generalities is why I feel stuck ATM but I'll get there in the end ☺️
  2. Thank you, I feel this will be a great help ☺️
  3. I was the same before I began studying as a nursing student. I was lucky enough to be able to shadow and speak to other nurses before I applied. I made sure to do my research to decide what area I would prefer (currently studying mental health). So I would say speak to people within The profession and try get yourself shadowing job. Or or even part time work in a hospital or another clinical area so you can see how nursing is and decide from there. It was the best decision I made as I really enjoy it so far so defo look into it
  4. Thank you, I should have been a little bit more specific. My current interests are currently around psychosis in adolescents. I have also been doing some research on how professional attitudes can impact on treatment, which i have found interesting. I have also read a little about how social class plays a role in the development of MH (which is a bit to broad). As you can tell I am still at an indecisive stage!
  5. Hi, I am currently studying mental health nursing and am about to enter into my third year. We have to do an 10,000 word extended literature review for our dissertation but am having a lot of trouble deciding on a topic. Does anyone have any suggestions plsss???
