  1. I came to this site for advice and I swore if I passed I would put my tips on how I did it. A little about my story, I went to a crappy nursing school and was scared to death to take nclex. I did the hurst review and bought a Kaplan book that came with a 180 question CD. I also did the 30$ nclex app to study on the go. Well I went in for a 8am nclex and got all 265 questions. Next day I found out I failed. I was devastated but not down. I instantly looked up how people who failed ended up passing. Uworld and the Lacharity book were the most popular so I bought them. I got my money back from hurst because that obviously didn't help me. I worked 2, 12 hour night shifts a week and studies my butt off for 45 days. I dod every trick i could, including buying stress and rwlax oils and asking people to pray for me. I told a hand full of people i took the test so not many people knew i failed. I don't recommend telling a bunch of people just in case.I took the next test on a Monday late afternoon. I took deep breaths, wore my stress oil, I was ready to pass. My computer shut off in 75 questions. I knew I passed. I tried the Pearson trick which I didn't the first time. Good pop up. The next day I got a pass on the Florida board site. Just because you failed once, don't let your fears and anxiety hold you back. Try again. I am now an official RN!
