Hi everyone, I am 17 and going to be a high school senior next year. I live in TX, by the way I really confused about ADN. I go to community college to get ADN, but do I need take general eds such as math, government, economics and english before take prerequisites classes for ADN? If not, when I apply for BSN at university, do these general ed classes is compulsory? I really do not where to start. Should I be CNA then finish pre nursing program then go straight to accomplish BSN? Or should I get ADN then get into ADN-BSN program? One more question: if I finish pre nursing at community college, does is cut my BSN which orginally is 4 yrs into 2 yrs because I have heard that 4yrs BSN include about 2 year is pre nursing class. Moreover, Which university in dallas area is best and affordable in bsn program? While I read some discussion, some people mentioned TEAs. I do not know what it iS and why we have to take the test? This test is compulsory to go to nursing school? Each of comments will help me choose my right pathway! Many thanks for all your advice. If there is anymistakes, I am very sorry.
