USF Second Sequence BSN: Spring 2018
Agreed. I did not get into USF I found out this evening but I did get into HCC's ASN program for January. I was hoping for USF since its 1 year and I already have my bachelors but I'm going to do just as you said, work and do the bachelors online. Don't give up!

USF Second Sequence BSN: Spring 2018
I got so excited last night when I got an email from USF, BUT it was only an email saying I can't register because I have an immunization record hold. Sigh. Lol. Do we know if we are going to be notified via email or postal mail?

USF Second Sequence BSN: Spring 2018
This is really unfortunate. I actually spent the last 2 semesters retaking pre-reqs to obtain higher grades, which I did. Now I do not feel confident finding this out.

I hope everyone is safe and didn't suffer any major damage during the hurricane. Luckily no damage, flooding, or power loss here. Just patiently waiting to hear about the program! I would think we should be hearing any day now? I did get an email back from the program yesterday as I inquired about possible orientation dates. They are thinking the first week of November but its not definite. I'm hoping this means decisions will be made soon!

Did you have any luck finding example questions? I really hope I get invited for an interview. I'm trying to stay in the area - I can't really move at this time. I also like the idea of an accelerated program.

Does anyone know what the nursing interview consists of? Types of questions, etc?

University of South Florida ABSN Spring 2018
I applied as well - seemed like a very simple application - I was surprised. I wonder what the interview would be like and how it works. Do they narrow the pool and bring in a certain amount of applicants for interviews then make decisions on seats from there?

USF Second Sequence BSN: Spring 2018
Hi there! I also applied for the Spring 18 2nd degree sequence. I graduated from UCF originally. I wonder when we will start hearing decisions. Do they wait until after the December deadline? Seems pretty late. Other schools I applied to the deadline has already passed and their orientations are coming up end of October/early November.

Does anyone have an idea when the orientation may be or what day of the week it is? I will be out of the country for 2 weeks in November and I'm nervous orientation will be during that time frame. I just wish they would announce it so I can make arrangements if need be.

Hillsborough Community College Nursing - Spring 2018
I checked my documents and its finally updated. All of my transcripts, TEAS, consent form, application fee, and application shows received as of 7/10. For reference, I mailed my application on 7/5 and its just now showing up. The only thing that says Not Received is the prereq's most likely because I literally finished the last one last week.

Got a pretty much generic response today: Thank you for your interest in HCC's Nursing Program. Students applying to a limited access Health Sciences Program and want to ensure they have completed all the admission requirements before or by the program deadline they must use the checklist provided with the application. When applications are received and if noticed that a document or requirement is missing, we might sent students a courtesy reminder email prior the program deadline. However, applications are not screened when received to ensure that students have completed the admission requirements, that it is the students responsibility. At this moment, the orientation date is final yet. The Nursing application form, section VI gives mid-November as an approximate date for orientation for the spring term. However, if you are accepted into the program you will be given the information with your status notification. We recommend applicants, it is very important, that once the application packet is submitted applicants should begin to regularly monitor their HCC Hawkmail. We expect that official status notification will be sent about 8 to 10 weeks after the program deadline. Note that all communications will only be through the students HCC Hawkmail, as the official status notification. If you want to see and follow the progress of your application and documents: 1) Go to hccfl.edu 2) Click on HawkNet†(located at the top of the homepage) 3) Click on WebAdvisor†4) Log in and select Students†5) Click on My Documents†(located near the bottom on the left hand side) If at this time your WebAdvisor is not showing any of your application documents, it means that your application packet has not been processed yet, not that has not been received. When we begin to process applications your WebAdvisor will show "ASAP" or "Not Received" and a notification below UNDER REVIEW†in those documents are in progress. They will remain open until they have been completely evaluated by the Health Sciences Admissions team.

Hillsborough Community College Nursing - Spring 2018
Hi everyone - I applied for Spring 18 as well. I applied about a month ago. I saw some of you said you could see if they have received your documents/application or not? I sent a self addressed envelope with my application and they did send it back with a piece of paper that said it was received. I just want to double check and know that they received all documents necessary and that I'm not missing anything. When I click on my documents it just shows my transcripts from previous schools which they already have on file.
