I just really wanted to get into Derm and I did get another more normal offer, but this place was so close to my home and has better hours. I so busy don't know what normal compensation for a derm NP is. Obviously not $25 an hour...

I don't get it. Is it bc the clientele is so snobby?

Hello. I have 5 yrs of NP experience and have been offered a job at a Derm clinic. They want me to work as an MA for 6 months and then train as an NP for another 6 to 12 months for $25/hr. Then I would be paid on commission and earn 22.5% of what I made for the clinic. Is this normal? If not, how were you trained and with what kind of salary. This clinic seems great but I feel like they may be xploiting me. Any advice would be appreciated.
