Yes I worked full-time Eve shift LPN and it didn't work for my family. Then started working part-time and now prn. I took my 1st RN NCLEX in Aug after graduating in May and actually ran out of time. I know I do not know anyone other than myself who ran out of time! So I took it again in Oct and rushed through it and failed. Took a yr off. My large family had to live in a hotel for over 2 months waiting for our house to be livable! Then moved back in while till repairing our home and caring for our children. I went to work as an LPN in hopes to get back in the groove of things and I got caught up in a crazy work schedule working opposite shifts from my husband. I don't expect anyone to understand unless they lived ití ½í¸¢ Just needed to know if anyone has suggestions. Thank you for your input í ½í¸‰

Well I am full of questions and not sure where to turn! I failed my Illinois RN NCLEX and it's been 3 yrs from my original application date. So I have to complete 2 yrs of school in order to re-take NCLEX. I graduated in May 2014 with ADN. I passed LPN NCLEX and have an active lic. I also have an Associates Degree in General Studies. My question I guess is... Is there a way to go to school online and continue education? Maybe get BSN or NP without spending a small fortune! Or can I even continue without an RN lic. I just hate to repeat yrs of hard work when I could just continue to excel. I know many are wondering so I will add I am a 31 yr old mother of 5 who breastfed, was pregnant and had a c section during nursing school. Then after graduation life kept happening and we had a house flood and then later added child #5 do to a death in the family. We all know life happens! I just need to know where to go from here!!!
