10 that got off the list

I know of 2 people on the waiting list who were considered this Spring. But I heard there were about 10 for the Spring 2017

Does anyone know how many spots there are for the ACE track?

Thanks Harkness, I was accepted into all the other three places I applied to and was least likely to be accepted by GSU so I wasn't really keeping up with them. My GPA was 3.79 & science 3.8 TEAS 85.

Got my acceptance email 2 days ago into the ACE program but only realised this morning. Does anyone have an idea on how the daily schedule is like. Please lmk of any chat forums for others in this track on facebook or here. Congrats to all accepted in both trad and ace tracks. Keep hope alive those who are still awaiting a response.

Congrats @Ayaya & @PriPri can only imagine the joy y'all feel now. Any idea on previous cohorts or how competitive the program Is? The ratio of seats available to number of applicants?

Hi Caitlinw & all. Please can you tell me what housing you have? Campus housing or you rent an apartment and if you do rent what is the average rent over there?

They do have relatively lower entrance stat compared to school in metro Atlanta Area which is a good thing for those who doesn't have very comepetitive GPA but want to be nurses. @Bleu yeah that is certainly why no one ever gets rejected in addition to the fact that not many people are willing to study there or are even aware of their programs. A friend told me in the last 2 years, they've had at least 5 unfilled spots in each program. Quite aware of their good NCLEX pass rates which is why I applied in the first place.

Great congrats. Do u currently attend CCGA or where you going to be enrolling from? I had a 3.55 & 90 in HESI and got my letter last week.

No one has ever been rejected too regardless of stats So I pretty much think yall will get accepted

Maybe I used the wrong word. By unpopular I meant not many people know about their programs not that their programs are not good. I have gone through a lot of threads here. I must say the stats of students admitted in CCGA programs are relatively very low compared to those of students accepted to other nursing programs in Georgia. This makes me believe what I was told is true.

Did any of you guys apply after the due date? Please State when y'all applied and how long you were told to wait until you receive a decision. I heard they normally have a 100% acceptance rate since they are unpopular programs

April 23rd should be 6weeks from the deadline though by which time almost all if not all nursing programs must have sent out decisions to not only their admitted students but to the waitlisters as to whether as spot showed up.

Nah their deadline is March 23, and all immunizations and CPR & BLS licence should be submitted by April 6.

Augusta is wrong for that.

I just got my acceptance letter from College of Coastal Georgia BSN program which of course is not my first choice. I'm still all smiles I got a back up to fall on. Just read threads for gsu fall 2016 & fall 2017. **** we might have to wait till 3rd week of May. These guys deserve the numerous negative reviews they have indeed. They most likely know how competitive this program is, the more than 1 schools applicants apply to, and the limited period given to respond if accepted by a school but yet choose to drag the decision making process for so long a time.

Choosing a private expensive institution as Mercer over a public less expensive university as Augusta is not what I will do. Have no experience in either programs but if I were u I'd consider Augusta. Take your times and analyze the cost of attendance of each college including tuition, transport, housing and fees. Good luck with your choice. I see u applied to GGC tho what if you are accepted. Is it any better to the former choices?
