So I actually asked them if the cutoff was gonna be different because we all lose potential points and the answer was "it depends on the pool of applicants" I say apply anyway it does not hurt you and if you do not get accepted then you will know what you need to do to improve your chance. Last applicant period scores as low as 60 got in.

Advisor at charity gave it to me and it is on the delgado website too

So my score is 60 now that I lost 10 pts since our cumulative GPA no longer gives us points. So the points required changes with the pool of applicants which has me believing that people with scores in the 50s should apply too. But 60-65 is what the normal acceptance minimum has been the last few application periods.

What day is everyone turning in their applications? I think I`m gonna go monday I am anxious to turn it in lol

So I am curious if the needed points for acceptance will be lowered any now that they do not give points for cumulative gpa

Hi all I am reapplying this summer for Spring 19. And yes they will accept your summer classes. Mrs Thornton said that when you bring in your application put your summer classes and tell them you are enrolled and they will hold your application pending summer grades.

Same... struggling focusing on anything waiting on this letter... grrrrr

Im figuring after easter we will more than likely know something, campus is closed this week from thur till sun for "spring break".

AHHH the wait is stressing me out... I just want to know! Trying to stay busy and focused on my classes but I`m worried about being denied and needing a plan b :-/

We were told at the info meeting that we should have our letters this month because April is when they start orientation. The wait is stressing me out... I just want to know!!!!

I am finally finishing this life goal. I have always known I wanted to be a nurse. I naturally care for people and I am always the calm one during an incident. I quit my job last year and dove head first into finishing this. This semester I finish my prereqs. I have 2 children 12 years old and 10 years old. I recently(last weekend lol) just started working PRN in the ccu/icu at West Jefferson as a patient care tech and let me just say I`m in love! Saying I wanted to be a nurse has changed to I know I am meant to be a nurse. Highly recommend if you can to start working now, I will only be working a night or two a week so nothing demanding but the nurses involve me in everything and love teaching. It will make a huge difference once I start a program.

Yes the wait is so long... Trying not to think about it but its kinda hard! Hopefully I can distract myself with classes lol
