My daughter has also applied. She as well is playing the waiting game. I think I’m more anxious than her. I am going into my last year of the program. It’s a great program, but tough. Best of luck to all of you.

Hi everyone~ Has anyone else applied for the Spring 2019 session? Just wondering if anyone knows the stats...like how many applied and what's the TEAS scores looking like. I will have all my required classes completed in the fall and I ended up with a 76 on my TEAS.

Hi there, No, I didn't have a guaranteed score of 76. Having a guarantee spot is not the end all, be all. There are a certain amount of spots and not all are taken with a guaranteed spot. I've known people get in with 60-72 scores. I'm in my first semester and let me tell you getting a guarantee score isn't going to get you through nursing school. It's going to take a lot more. I've known quite of few guarantee issues not make it through one of their semester. I've been in your spot, in fact it took me a couple times of applying to finally get in. I feel having all your pre-requisites completed plus taking the CNA class is a plus. I had a 75 on my TEAS and a 3.0 GPA in my classes needed for the program. You have a good chance of getting in. I also got into the day program. Here is what I gathered of what your schedule will look like. 3 days a week theory for 2hrs and 1 day a week for clinical for 6hrs, plus NURS 163 online course. Hope this helps. Clinical times will vary depending on where you do then at. Also, if you have not completed the CNA then I'm assuming that would be another class added on.

Nope, no word yet. However, I spoke to advisor and she said 4-6 weeks from 6-15. She said or possibly in August. I also asked her if she knew how many applied this time and she wasn't sure.

I also applied for the spring session. I have all my classes completed, 75 on TEAS a 3.0 on classes they require, and CNA completed. I know quite a few people who got over a 76 on the TEAS this time around, as well as quite a few who got less than a 76. Honestly, from knowing people who got in the past it's hard to understand how they calculate who gets in and who doesn't. I seen people get in with 72 or less without having all their classes completed and people with 72 - 75 and 1 or 2 pre reqs left and not get in. It's the waiting that's the hardest part.
