  1. Surgical Tech certification

    Hi, I graduated from an accredited surgical technology program in 2006, worked in the OR in 06 and 07, and went to work in the autopsy suite at the local medical examiners office in 07 and 08. I haven't actually scrubbed since 2007, and I never obtained my certification because at that time it wasn't required in the state of Texas. My question is, can would I be eligible to take my certification exam now, or has too much time lapsed? Would I have to re-take the entire course?
