Profitable Nurse Businesses?
Hello, I am interested in having a side business besides a full time nursing job that can be very profitable. I heard some nurse owning two businesses and making 500k. Does anyone know of business ideas that could be THAT profitable? Thanks in advance.

Can nurses live comfortably?
No because luxurious and comfortably are two different things

Can nurses live comfortably?
I asked this question previously but in the wrong context. I just want to know can nurses, specifically in NY, afford nice things and live comfortably and not paycheck to paycheck? Thanks.

Can nurses live a luxurious life?
Hello, I live in NY and I plan on being a RN and getting a bachelors degree. The majority of answers I've seen on this topic is "it's not about the money" etc. I would never take a job for the money bc I know I'd end up hating and regretting it. However, is it possible as a nurse to live a luxurious life where you can afford nice things? Thanks in advance for the answers.

Take home pay?
Hello, I found that the average annual income for a RN in NY is 85k-95k. Tax in NY lowers that 95k to like 70k. Is there anyway to reduce tax income for a RN? Because that sounds like too much money to be taken. Thanks in advance for your answers.

How many hours did you honesty spend studying in nursing school?
Hello, I've been wanting to ask those who graduated nursing school, how many hours did you honestly spend studying? I heard people studying for about 5-6 hours a day which to me sounds like too much. But then I also heard people studying about 1-2 hours a day which sounds fair. And also, when clinicals start, do you study less or more than you did in the beginning of nursing school? Thanks

How long did you study for A&P 1 and A&P 2?
I plan on taking A&P1 and possibly intro to stats and a nutrition class all in one semester. Is that overload or fair? And would studying about 30min-1hr daily for A&P1 be good enough to get good grades? And what about for A&P2?

Taking A&P 1 and Intro to Chem together?
I never got to take high school chem before and the pre req for taking gen chem is to have high school chem or intro to chem. I will be a freshman in college next year and would it be smart to take:Intro to Statistics, Intro to Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology 1 all together my freshmen year first semester? or should I take one intro another time? And is it wise that I'm taking A&P1 freshmen year? Thanks.

Will Nursing be stressful?
Sorry if it sounded naive I know there obviously will be stress I just meant will it be extremely stressful or a healthy kind where I can still spend time with family and friends and have time home without thinking about work 24/7? And I do want to do nursing because it is the only thing I'm passionate and interested in about in the career field. **I'm only concerned about this because my brother is telling me that nursing is extremely stressful to the point where it messes with your mind and you don't think normal**

Will Nursing be stressful?
Hello, I plan on hopefully becoming a RN one day and I understand that nursing school won't be the easiest thing, however, after that will nursing be stressful? Would I be able to have time for family and friends? Would I have to take my work home with me? I would hate to do that because I want time for my home and family and also time for work SEPARATELY. ALSO** If you choose to work the 3-12 hour shifts you get 4 days off completely? And to those who did have the 3-12 hour shifts, did they like it?

Will I have a social life in nursing school
I've been planning on go to nursing school and I'm kind of worried that I won't be having a social life if I do go through with it. I don't mean going out everyday, however, I'd like to spend my Friday's and Saturday's with my family and friends. I understand it's only two years in exchange for a lifetime but is it possible? I plan on studying on the weekdays after school moderately, not cramming it all in on Sunday. Will this be possible? And has anyone else had a life outside nursing school? Thanks.

Method of getting into Nursing School?
Thanks so much for the answer. But how did you find out?

Method of getting into Nursing School?
Hello, I was wondering if this method made complete sense. So, I was hoping that I would go to Nassau Community College, take the pre-reqs there, and apply to York College BSN program. Is this possible? Would the credits transfer? And will my college guidance counselor help me out with this stuff? Thank you so much.

Going from Community College and transferring to get a BSN?
I go to high school and my freshmen year I did really bad ( I failed algebra and biology), not because I'm dumb but because I didn't care. Then sophomore I still didn't care as much but managed to get 80s. And I just finished my junior year and had mostly 90s in my classes. I want to make up for my bad grades so I want to go to community college, but I do not want an associates degree in nursing. Is it possible for me to go from community college then transfer to a university to get my BSN? I plan on become an NP. OR Should I get my ADN in a community college and then go from ADN to BSN? I'm sorry but I'm really confused on how to go about this. Thank you.
