UT vs TCU CRNA school
I applied to Baylor, TCU and UT and got into TCU and UT and alternate listed at Baylor. I was set on going to TCU until I got into UT. Now I am just really confused. Background is I am married with 2 kids and live in Houston. I got Houston clinical site for TCU but I believe 14 months is at one hospital where as UT does clinicals through about 10 clinical sites not sure which is better. I would have to leave my family for about a year if I choose TCU. I have heard good things about both and some bad things about one of them. Anybody with any experience with the programs or that knows anything please help. I have done pretty extensive research so people currently in the programs or grads of these programs would be great.

Baylor & UT Houston CRNA 2018
IKjjuni366. I am also alternate listed at Baylor, accepted to TCU and interviewed at UT on the 27th. I know someone that was alternate listed last year at Baylor and got a call for acceptance a week later... he didn't take the spot. He said he felt like there were other places that fit him better. I believe there will be spots open up at Baylor the question is will you take the spot at Baylor if you do get into UT before then.

TCU CRNA program for Jan 2018
o ok simular stats here 3.4 ccrn, csc 3 years CVICU 306, 5 writing CSC was not an easy test but I found it easier than the CCRN. If you are in heart recovery you should do fine with some studying. For me about half of the questions they gave you a scenario with mutiple gtts followed with about 10 vitals ( including cvp,pa numbers, svr etc.) and asked what you thought was happening and how you would fix the problem. Having a good understand of cardiac patho, hemodynamics and difference in when you would use this gtt rather than that one ie. nitro vs nipride is beneficial. Good luck

TCU CRNA program for Jan 2018
I have not heard anything back yet but I just complete my app last week so others who completed it earlier may have already received one. I did ask though and the administration lady told me that about 200 people have applied, they would give out around 100 interviews and accept 50-60.
