  1. Did you hear back via email or regular mail?
  2. Did you add yourself to the Facebook group Laurah224? There are a few posts to get to know each other in there! :)
  3. Search for this Facebook group "UB ABSN 2018"
  4. Check your messages on FB!
  5. Congrats on Buffalo! Where else are you waiting to hear from? We should start a Facebook group of the people who got accepted.
  6. We're all in it together! I'm a mom to an 18 month old, so nervous about how I'm going to juggle it all. We got this!
  7. I still have to take pharm and chemistry, I'm not sure of my actual gpa for the prerequisites but probably around 3.7. A's and B's.
  8. Decisions are out!!!! I got in!!!
  9. I registered and have to pay out of pocket at Cayuga community college, it's an online course.
  10. Patho online at ECC is difficult because the only grades you have are four exams. It's a lot of reading and teaching yourself, doable but not easy by any means. Same here, only UB requires pharm so I saved it for last.
  11. I'm in pathophysiology now online. I'd recommend taking it in class if possible. I'm taking pharmacology in the spring! Are you local?
  12. Hi Laurah224! Do you have any classes left to take? I started a form called SUNY UB ABS 2018 if you want to check that out too!
  13. I spoke with ECC and you can't take their pharm class unless you're in their nursing program. I have pharm and chemistry left to take. I'll be taking them both in the spring.
  14. Actually I just called and I have to get a certificate of residence form sent in. Much better than $1,200!
  15. So nerve wrecking! How is pharmacology going? I'm about to apply and register for it at Cayuga. Can I ask how much the course cost you? From what I read it was like $1200??
  16. I applied to Niagara University, I'm alumni there so hopefully that counts for something if I don't get accepted into UB. I didn't recieve an acceptance to the school itself yet, one of my transcripts got lost so I had to hand deliver a second one last week. Weird that they accept you to the school but not the program yet. I guess I don't really understand the point of that haha
  17. Rvesse815, did you apply to any other ABS programs?
  18. Did you apply to any other program? I applied to NU as well.
  19. Yours never popped up for me either, so weird! I'm in the same classes now and taking the same ones next semester. How exciting to find someone else interested in midwifery!
  20. Hi! I started a thread on this a few months ago, I've sent in my application and am also finishing prerequisites at ECC. How is it going for you? I'm nervous and hate this long wait until December!
  21. I just sent mine in! Good luck to you!
  22. Rvesse815, how are you doing with the applications essay questions? I'm struggling with how long my responses should be.
  23. Ahh! I'm taking that in the spring, so good luck! Right now I'm in anatomy 2, in the fall I'll be taking microbiology and patho.
  24. I'm taking the prerequisites now too. Are you taking the prerequisites at ECC?
  25. Hi! I'm getting ready to apply to University of Buffalo's ABS program. I'm wondering if there is anyone else on here that's applying, we could provide some support to each other. Or if there is anyone in the program now (May 2017) that can give some insight to how many students got accepted and what the general acceptance gpa looked like. Thanks!!
