I saw 2 people post about getting an interview but IDK them personally. No idea how many people they’re hiring and what the pay is tho

I didn’t apply because I got into Scripps but both of them are gone for me too (but I saw Grossmont’s posting was still up yesterday). People are getting interviews already so I guess they moved super quick haha

Does anyone have any insight on the internal new grad positions at Memorial and Grossmont? Like is it a temporary RN extender role or is it a normal new grad program?

It doesn’t say, the phone call didn’t say which unit either but it’s either med-surg or DOU! ?

Good afternoon! I'm a sophomore nursing student and I'm thinking about what nursing-related jobs that I would be fit for during the summer. I've learned how to do injections, insert foley catheters, trach suction, bathe patients, etc. During the summer I will have already completed my my first clinical rotation. My classes have basically trained me to be a CNA or medical assistant but without giving me the certification. I doubt that hospitals will hire me without a certification or any CNA experience, so does anyone have any advice on what jobs I could be qualified for? Or how I could get hired without it? Thank you you so much for reading this!

Wow I'm so relieved now thank you so much!!! Same here, I almost threw up during a very bloody scene of a TV show and that's when I started contemplating whether I should change my major. I'll check out the other areas you mentioned, thanks again! :)

Hi everyone! I'm a recent high school graduate and will be attending a direct entry nursing program in the fall. I've always been so passionate about nursing but I never thought about how much gore I can really handle. Of course injections are okay for me, but if I worked in an emergency room and someone walked in with their arm chopped off I think I would probably faint! My goal is to be an RN or pediatric nurse so if you have experience in these fields, please let me know what I should expect to see from patients on a daily basis.
