  1. Rural Nursing Confidentiality Issue

    I kept my family completely in the dark with my patient as my patient is a family friend and was only supposed to be a short stay admission. Now both parties are confused as to why I was so stringent on confidentiality. Did I do the right thing? FYI I work at a rural hospital.
