Yes, I believe this is up to your Unit, and it would depend likely on their requirements. You can reach out to your Branch Managers and talk to them about your options within in the Reserves. They are your career managers and likely have a better perspective on how your chances are in regard of attending a course.

Unfortunately, you must attend the AOC course when you already in the reserves. Same rule when you are active duty and you join as a 66H. The only way to come in without having to do the AOC Course is if you are a civilian and you worked in that area for quite some time. Than a consultant will take a look at your work experience and decide if you can come in as a critical care nurse.

66 T we always look for. However, that AOC at this time does not receive in this fiscal year any bonuses in terms of $$. This might change with the new fiscal year approaching. If you have further questions regarding this AOC and reserve, please let me know.

No Sir, no information regarding OML status. However, our fiscal year does not start until October. In September we will see what the numbers will look like for the individual AOC's. Depending on the numbers they require they start pulling from the OML lists around September range. We specifically have no influence over whom they take or not. Once the physical year started, and you know that they did not consider you, you could reapply at that point. Its still too early at this point.
