  1. Mine was signed today as well. Still says under review but guessing that will change soon. Finalist email on 8/29.
  2. HRSA administers a whole bunch of programs, including funding for facilities. I'm guess the HRSA funding your boss was talking about had nothing to do with Nurse Corps or NHSC.
  3. Don't lose hope! I had pretty much given up as well as it seemed all nurse faculty had been awarded. Then just when I had stopped obsessing over my email all day, every day, for the last 2 months, it came. They can be making awards for the next 30 days. It's not over 'till it's over! Sending out positive vibes to all of you. I know the waiting is agonizing but you've made it this far!
  4. My email came at exactly 2pm. I've been worried for two months I would miss it too but it's very obvious. Even says "ACTION REQUIRED".
  5. Nurse faculty here. Just got the finalist email!!
  6. It discusses in more detail on the website but basically 50% of funds are reserved for NPs, 20% for faculty, and the remaining 30% is for all other RNs. So essentially if they have the budget ahead of time, which I'm sure they do, each sector has a percentage of those funds allocated from the start. I think where it gets complicated is once they start awarding, they probably have a final review process to determine the exact amount of funds at the time of award (which would differ from when we applied in February d/t interest and payments). I'm guessing that's why they make awards a few at a time.
  7. I've been able to login to website yesterday and today?
  8. What was your DTI pacp2015? I'm also tier 2 faculty and so excited to hear this news!
  9. Oh this is great news for this Nurse Faculty, Tier 2, 140+%. Fingers crossed I get an email today too!!
  10. I'm guessing it's more like that the registration numbers start in sequence from where they left off in previous years.
  11. Thanks for this detail. I have been so paranoid that I have missed the email! And congrats by the way!!!!
  12. Thanks for the response. Maybe they are done with faculty after all? The waiting wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have to diligently watch our email for fear of missing the offer. I guess I'll keep the faith until I hear other use.
  13. Agreennpc, Did your offer come around July 3rd as well?
  14. Did you get your offer on July 3rd as well?
  15. Thanks for sharing that last tidbit because I was starting to lose hope (I am faculty too). Seems they are moving slowly but surely.
  16. Perhaps they are done with nurse faculty and have moved on to NPs now. I had my first credit check on 5/22 and nothing since:( Any other nurse faculty out there waiting?
  17. Did you apply for more than one program? That seems to often be the reason for multiple credit checks.
  18. I have been anxious to hear as well. I am nurse faculty in tier 2 and had a credit check in May. I know last year they did fund faculty in tier 2 but wonder if this year they had more applicants and that won't happen. Still trying to remain hopeful!
  19. Argh! I'm a wreck now checking my email every hour. I even broke down and called HRSA to see if I could find out anything. The gentleman I spoke to couldn't even confirm whether or not they notify applicants by group (NF, NP, etc.). And his parting words were, "You will be notified between now and September 30th." Keeping my fingers crossed! NF/DTI 140%/Tier 2
  20. Nothing here but checking every day! NF, Tier 2, DTI 140%
  21. Sure hoping we all get awarded this year because it looks like next year the funding for Title VIII programs will be greatly reduced: NLN Capitol Connection - June 2
  22. Looking through last year's thread it seems there were some who had credit checked but didn't receive funding. I think I even recall folks who've applied this year mentioned credit checks from last year. But I think a credit check is a pretty good sign.
  23. Only 20% of the funding will go to nurse faculty. I think perhaps they are just working group by group. Don't lose hope!!
  24. 140% but the tiers for educators just divide between > or
