  1. No changes for me either. Last time I called they were admitting at 3.6-3.7 I'm fourth on the wait list right now. We will hear back before Aug 15.
  2. I bet!! After them messing up your application you must feel a sigh of relief haha. Absolutely! I'm at a 3.57 gpa right now so it's cutting it really close but fingers crossed. You need to celebrate!!
  3. Omg I'm so happy for you!!! Congrats! I hope I get a response soon as well. You must be so happy
  4. Is that 3.85 gpa based on the prereqs like anatomy, stats, English, etc.? That's ridiculous. You should have been notified right away! Haha exactly why I've been calling them constantly
  5. What's your gpa? Who said within a week? Hahah
  6. No I haven't heard back yet! How about you? Also, I called the advisor today she said they're still organizing people's transcripts. It's taking quite some time.
  7. So my friend emailed Dipti and since June 1 was the transcript deadline, files are being processed gradually. They're admitting at 3.70 and higher for new applicants and 3.50 and higher for change of program students.
  8. Well I called last week and they said they're still sorting out the transcripts and will be giving out offered in the next few weeks. I'm thinking it's gonna take them a while....
  9. I go on the nursing website contact page and either call the senior nursing advisors or Megan Smitten! I just got off the phone with senior advisor Liane and since the deadline for transcripts was just a few days ago it may take another couple weeks for us to hear back. Best of luck! I'm surprised you haven't been notified yet considering your high gpa.
  10. Hi lgiovanetto so did you get accepted yet? Wow that's ridiculous. Which route did you apply for?
  11. I also applied for uofc nursing transfer for fall 2017! I called the nursing advisors multiple times and I was told that they're only offering 25 seats for transfer applicants. They've admitted one person so far who's sitting at a 3.7gpa. They typically wait for the transcript deadline which is June 1 before filling in the seats. Essentially they pick a super high gpa for example a 3.6 that they know won't fill all the sits then they slowly lower the gpa until all the seats are filled. They will cancel all the applications that don't need the minimum requirements and for those who don't meet the competitive gpa will be waitlisted until further notice. Dipti, one of the senior nursing advisors said they received 200 applications. Yes I completely agree that it might be more difficult to get in this term since they calculate your gpa based on the prereqs such as knes and stats which are challenging courses for sure. I have a 3.57 gpa and I hope I get in this term I'm super nervous!! Best of luck you guys!!!
