    Thank you for the help.. appreciate it! :) I have another question. We practice skin test prior giving antibiotics but sometimes have to do it through an IV test . Does anynone know how much amount of the drug is given for the IV test? be of great help. thank you.

    HI! I have a question with reconstituting powdered drugs in vials. Is there a standard amount of diluent to be used let us say the package inserts are not available? Like for antibiotics in 500mg vials do we use 5cc of sterile water and 10cc in 1gram. How long can we keep the opened vials and when to discard them? Thank you!
