The selection process is just gut wrenching ?. But you have to take it with a grain of salt being that this is such a competitive program. Keep me posted if u hear anything new.

I was selected as an alternate as well. It's not as bad as getting a no..it's the best way to look at it right now for me. I'm going to start looking into scheduling my TEAS test at DSC in the mean time. Like you said it is what it is at this point

Heyyyy Megan! I applied to the LPN to RN bridge program at a college in my hometown, Jacksonville. I should hopefully get a response this coming week. If things don't go as I hope, I plan to apply to DSC in May. How was the process? What was your overall score on the point system and did you get in?

Yes!! Actually, Daytona State College! I went there for my LPN program and loved it. Another reason I hope we get our results this week is because of my back-up plan. If things didn't work out at FSCJ, I would take the TEAS at DSC this month and be able to apply by May. But hopefully we got this!

Just the bridge, I wanted to apply for the traditional but I felt my overall score wasn't strong enough. Now that I think about it I should have just went for it anyway. I was told from a professor that not too many people apply for the bridge as much as the traditional program so I was hoping I can make the cut. Did you have any other colleges in mind or just FSCJ?

Hey!! Goodness LOL I hope so because these past couple of weeks has been torture. I'm literally on pins and needles waiting to get that email!!

Nothing yet. I haven't heard anything new either. Welp, LOL I guess I will just hang tight and if I know anything I'll definitely keep you updated.

Someone who applied to the RN Summer program at FSCJ called and asked if they had a specific timeframe on when letters would be going out and they said they started today, that some people have already been notified. But so far, I haven't heard anyone getting an acceptance. I will definitely keep you updated if I hear anything else ?
