Athens Tech ASN program 2018
Hello everyone, I just applied for the Athens tech ASN program and took my NLN yesterday and received my score. Now I just have to wait. My pre req GPA is a 3.65 I believe and my NLN composite score is a 146 which puts me in the 99th percentile. I was floored when I saw that last night. I hope this is all good enough to be accepted. Has anyone else applied on here? I was thinking we could start a discussion and keep each other updated and offer support and advice. Good luck to everyone!

I did take spanish and it was very difficult for me but it's not my strong subject. Well my GPA stands at a 3.1 and I know my chances are slim to none but I'm still going to try. I take the HESI Friday and I've been studying for months. I'm applying to other programs too so I won't be heartbroken if I don't get in, which I'm very certain I won't. I like a good challenge though.

Spanish kicked my butt this semester. It's definitely not my strong point. Came out with a C, but got 3 A's and one B for the rest of my classes. I'm going for the 96 or above on the HESI to be my saving grace.

I have been reading past forums on here and it takes a while, a few months at least to get a letter

University of North Georgia Spring 2018 Cohort
Hi! I'm also applying this year for 2018. I'm also nervous and I take the HESI May 25th. My GPA situation is complicated. I have a 3.4, but since the program looks at everything then that brings it down to a 3.0 because of 2 F's I have from 7 years ago. I am working on getting the F's repealed and turned into W's, but it takes a while for them to make a decision. If I can get those F's turned into W's, then my GPA will be in decent shape for the competition, although still considered below average. I have to make an A+ on the HESI. Honestly I really don't think I'll get in this year, but I'm applying to a few different programs. All I have left to take is Micro and Chem II. How did your HESI go?
