Yeah, everything I have read about Frontier has been positive! I was a little nervous about it at first because I have never heard of the program, but right now it's my top choice. They seem to provide a good education and they say you get a sense of community with your classmates - something lacking in a lot of online schools.

Thank you, I checked into U of C, the price seems about what Frontier is running and I've read good things about the program as well. Those seem to be my top 2 for now. Thank you!

Hi all, I have a BSN and am looking for online programs for Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. I am curious if any of you have gone to or have a recommendation for a good WHNP program online. I have seen several, but many are big name schools that carry hefty price tags (Georgetown is almost 2k per credit hour!!), or are 3 years full time. I want a good program, but I'm having trouble sorting through them all. I've seen Frontier and Northwestern State universities, but I've never heard of them so I'm wondering if any of you have had any experience with these programs, or have any other school recommendations. Thanks!

I am wanting to specialize in Women's Health and need an online school as there are none where I live that offer WHNP. I have seen several, but some are from big name schools and crazy expensive (Georgetown is almost 2k per credit hour!). I want a good program, but I'm having a hard time sorting through them. I've seen Frontier and Northwestern State Universities and the price is good, they're 2 years full time (some I have seen are 3 years full time), and don't require travel to campus more than a few times. I was curious if anyone had gone to either of these or knows anything about the programs?? I want to be sure I'm in a good one. Any other suggestions on good online WHNP programs?? Thanks!
