  1. I am only on my first semester but so far I really like the program. Before starting this program I have done my research because I myself started another MSN program at another university and I wasn't very happy with them. Anyway, I really like UC's MSN program so far. I currently work in ICU, BSN GPA was 3.8. You should definitely give UC a try or at least research more about it. It is a really good program with a reasonable tuition cost. The program is well organized /coordinated. We have a lot of support and resources. :)
  2. Hello, so far it's been going well for most of us in the class (as far as I know). The classes in the first semester are doable and I like that the schedule is very well planned and coordinated so the due dates are not at the same time or very close together. It allows us to prioritize our time better depending on what is due. Definitely, work and save up as much as you can because as far as we have told they really recommend reducing your work hours during the last year to accommodate for clinical and classes.
  3. ah ok! hahaha that makes more sense! :) UC FNP Fall 2017 :)
  4. Congratulations to everyone again! Yes, we should create a facebook group on facebook so we could all keep in touch while in the program. Any group name suggestions? Should we name it UC FNP Summer 2019? I don't know hahaha
  5. Congratulations to both of you! I also received a phone and an email yesterday! I am now feeling so releived ! Thank you for keeping me posted!! :) so excited ho start !
  6. Hello NurseEmme, I haven't hear from the school either. I contacted my advisor and she basically said the same thing, that it may take about 6 weeks. And yes, you are right, no interview for online progran applicants, it's only for the on-campus applicants. I will keep you posted when I hear from the school.
  7. Hi everyone, Did anyone read/hear or know anything about an interview? If I am not mistaken I have read somewhere that there is one, but does anyone know when does it take place? who interviews the applicants? and what is the interview all about? .....as I am getting more anxious about the application response I have found some information that some people may be interested to find. 8. Thank you NurseEmme. I haven't heard from them either. I was wondering about the application extension as well. I agree, as I was doing my research about FNP programs, I have read a lot of good reviews about UC. I haven't heard from them yet. I am curious about what factors they consider in order to accept students (GPA, experience, recommendations, etc.). I also want to know how many applicants they have. I am very anxious because I did not apply to any other school and if I don't get in, I may need to wait for the next application period or even try to apply next year to UNLV or UN R FNP programs. I will keep you posted if I hear anything. Thanks! Good luck to everyone who applied or who are applying!
  9. Hi! I haven't heard from them yet. They have extended their fall application until May 2015. I am assuming I won't hear from them for another 4-6 weeks.
