Not really...he's a hard worker and has been a plant operator and now working as a road and bridge operator, but no degree or training that is easily transferable.

I am planning on becoming a travel nurse after I graduate school and get some experience. I am married, so my husband would be coming with me. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or suggestions about what kind of job he could do with us moving around every 3-6 months. I know most online jobs, but what specifically? TIA
  3. I haven't graduated yet, but I will tell you they make us create a portfolio to take to potential bosses to show what we have learned. I'm also in second semester and they have us scheduled for a job fair already. I know a lot of teachers would probably say this to get students in to their school but one of the teachers told me most of the students from last year had a job offer before they graduated. I will update hopefully when I get a job.
  4. Go to the Temple College ADN page. There is a chart that you can look at it has points for hesi score, points for completed classes, and other things. You add up your points at the bottom Max is 13 possible
  5. No it does not. But most of the BSN programs do, so if you find yourself with extra time waiting for the next cycle to apply might as well get it out of the way
  6. I got all my medical done...it was a nightmare trying to get the right shots on the right page. Def want to join study group!
  7. I got in!!! Who else?
  8. I am traveling from Thrall. I have all pre-reqs, 1 co-req, and I am trying to do the other 2 this summer. I have a 3.4 GPA (UUUHHHHH!), and I got a 97 on the Hesi. I also have 9 points. I CANNOT wait another month to find out if I got in!
  9. So, I have been waiting for someone else to start this topic but no one has so I figured I would. I applied for the ADN program this last April. The director told me that they might accept 70 people this year, so I was wondering how many others applied, how many points you had, how many co-reqs you have done, and what your hesi score was. Just me being nosy I guess! I thought if we could get to know each other early, maybe we could get a study group together! I am taking A&P II with Clement this summer, anybody else? I will be driving almost an hour to get there everyday. Add anything else you think we should all know, and please comment if you have any inside info! I can't believe I have to wait almost another month to find out if I got in! Good luck everybody!
