  1. Sounds good to me.
  2. Yeah, definitely! Do you want to make it? Or anyone else who is facebook savvy unlike myself haha
  3. Nope. They sent an updated handbook but it doesn't specify where to get the insurance or anything beyond us having it before the start of the semester.
  4. We do have to be CPR certified. It says it somewhere in the handbook but they don't say anything else about it. And in regards to the uniforms, from what I understood we only have to wear them during clinical which would be awesome cause I'd love to wear regular clothes in class haha
  5. No idea. I think that should be fine because I think I got a BLS one too sometime in April or May? And I got that one because I read somewhere that it was required for the program
  6. What I've been doing is renting any of the books that have a rental option on the site. Because why would the option be there if we couldn't rent it???
  7. We have to get certain shoes? I thought we could just wear any plain white shoes.
  8. I want to rent all the books that I can but I'm afraid some we'll have to actually buy
  9. Yup. I think both sections are Monday-Friday
  10. That happened to me a few days ago and then I saw it at the top of the schedule but I just checked and it's gone again. It's weird...
  11. Awesome! I can't wait for orientation and I'm hoping we do because I'd hate to go through the hassle of getting them all just to hear we don't need some
  12. I wonder when we find out when our clinical day(s) are. It's bothering me that we don't know yet haha I hope to have one full day of clinical instead of separate days
  13. I don't think we have a shared lecture. I know someone who got into the vet tech program and they had to do it beforehand. And yes guys secure your spots and pay!!
  14. For anyone in section 602, do you have classes Monday-Friday, as well? And I'd start buying books as soon as you can
  15. When you click on the class, there's a link at the bottom that shows you which books are needed.
  16. Hey everyone that's awesome! I do think that we got the email because we passed the CBC. It could be their way of telling us we're officially in, I guess. And I don't have my fb activated but if we started something I'd join for sure. I was thrilled to see that we need 13 books for 3 classes haha but I'm just so excited to finally start.
  17. Yeah mine shows that now. It's happened before. I don't remember if it just goes away or they have to go in and fix because usually they'd be fixing it by now if you noticed it yesterday
  18. We seem to have some good professors which is awesome
  19. They're quick haha I see my schedule, too ahh so exciting
  20. I assume if all goes well, they won't email you to confirm you passed the CBC. If you didn't pass, then I think they'd contact you. Otherwise, we just wait for our schedules and orientation!
  21. The request for the background check needs to be done by the first. I doubt it takes that long for the school to get the results. And I'm not an international student but I'm sure the program will have a few :) I'm excited, too! It feels like it has taken forever to get into nursing school for me haha
  22. Awesome! I'm glad we all got in :) I can't wait to start
  23. Congrats guys, I'm in too!
  24. I have no idea. I know the prereq GPA is big but I think I remember someone telling me it could be cumulative GPA. I know its 60% TEAS, 40% GPA. I don't know what my prereq GPA is but I'm hoping its a lot more than a 2.5 haha! And congrats @haiill! :)
