  1. How do you feel about taking online classes. I want to take as many as I can online due to the fact of having a family who solely relies on me. I would be taking Algebra 1101 English 1111 and Psychology 1101. My school does have a campus that I can go to for help is I need help with anything. I know how I can get and my schedule can be having 5 kids. I have quit to many times and really want to push through and get it done. What are your feeling and opinions of doing this?
  2. Congrats to everybody and how far they have come in their nursing journey. I'm just happy I'm finally starting. I cant wait until I can start studying for teas and applying for nursing programs. I know its going to take time but and I don't mind I have waited this long. Good luck to you all this semester.
  3. So I finally got my first ever college schedule. I know its not much to some but I'm super excited. I start classes on September 12 instead of in August because of baby coming next week. But any who I will be taking a total of 11 credit hours. I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursday. I will be taking English Composition 1101 - On Campus First Year Experience - On Campus (mandatory class for my school if this is your first time in college) College Algebra 1111- On Campus Lab Support Of College Algebra - On Campus ( My Learning Support Class) Art Appreciation - Online What pre-reqs are u taking this semester
  4. In August I will be starting my pre-reqs for nursing. I have to take a learning support class for math. I'm not embarrassed about it because it has been many years since I have been in school and I kind of feel I actually need it. The school that I'm attending requires that I attend my learning support class on campus, but I'm having a baby in 3 weeks and have to have a C-section and classes start on the 21st. Can I take some of my other classes that I need online this semester and then take the my math next semester when I'm able to go to classes on campus? Or can do I have to take my learning support class before anything else?
  5. I don't start until the fall but I didn't do to good on my placement test so I'm going to have to take it as well. Retesting was an options but do to that fact that I haven't taking a math class in years I figured it wouldn't be to bad. I wanna have a good GPA overall so I'm willing to take all the help I can get.
  6. Thanks everyone. Its good to know that I'm not alone. All of the word of encouragement was much needed. I was starting to feel like I was aiming to high...but I'm glad to know I'm not and it perfectly doable with sacrifices. I know I can do it.
  7. I'm a little nervous about it all but I am ready. I spend so much time on youtube looking at video about study tips and organization for school and things of that matter. I know its going to be hard and a lot of work but Im ready.
  8. So after many...many years of putting off going to school because of well life I will finally be starting my pre nursing classes this fall. I'm a little nervous about it all because I do have 3 kids and I will have a new born right before classes start. I also work full time as PCT at the hospital. I'm aware of the fact that I have a lot to deal with but I am up for the challenge. Are there any other pre nursing students that can relate to my situation? Just someone I can relate to.
