Quick question, those who have gotten accepted will you be taking the cpr course at cypress ?? I know it's a one day thing on the day of family night. At orientation they mentioned that it would be a great way to begin to meet everyone in the program.

No I did not receive that.. was it sent through email or ??? My registration isn't till the 20th so I can't access canvas yet for assignments :/ All I have read is chapter one of fundamentals textbook and chapter one of the pharmacology textbook.

For now you should definitely get ahead and start the health clearance.. and drug screening on castlebranch. And start buying books too! They are a bit pricy so I'm buying them little by little lol

Have you registered for cypress ?? You can check your mygateway for your registration appointment.. since I did not get in for the spring, I had to reapply for admission so I won't get an appointment time till the first week of July.

I'm pretty sure it's one clinical day a week.. at orientation they mentioned that clinicals will be 12 hours on one day and rarely will they split those hours into two days but it does happen sometimes which we will be informed of ahead of time. So depending on what group you are, it will either be Wednesday Thursday Friday. If you look all the way at the bottom at the groups it will tell you what day that group will be

Im surprised that no one else has joined in... there is no other forum for cypress nursing (fall). Also I'm so anxious about this orientation! I just want to get the information so I can begin to prepare lol

Oh jk you already saw it! And yeah since it's so close I'm thinking it's for the spring.. and thanks! But don't worry you are in a program for sure Which is more than a lot of people have. Just be patient and really prepare yourself! I have been looking through my A&P lecture notes and I also bought a little pharmacology memory note cards so I won't struggle too much in the program. Whatever lessens the work load! Lol
