  1. Hi, I don't know your location, but I know in Ontario, Canada you can't be a paramedic unless you take the 2 year college course, even if you are an RN. I checked into it. It's unfortunate. Hope this helps, Tanya:o
  2. Cathy, I was very interested in your post as I am a soon-to-be new RN grad in Ontario and am interested in ER nursing. Do you know of any good hospitals in the Hamilton/Southern Ontario area to apply to when I graduate? I would appreciate any further info you can send me Thanks!
  3. Hello, I am about to be a new RN grad in Hamilton, Ontario Canada and I have 2 questions for Ontario nurses out there. I am very interested in both ER nursing and flight nursing but I need some info. My questions are: 1. What advice and/or opinion do you have on new grads working in the ER? (ie: Is it possible?, will it be too difficult?, what hospitals in Hamilton/Southern Ontario are good for new grads to work in their ER?, etc.) 2. How do I become a flight nurse in Ontario? Are there companies or hospitals that hire flight nurses and if so, what kind of qualifications will I need? I would appreciate any info anyone can send me. My email is: [email protected] Thanks everyone!!
