  1. Hi all. I've been following the posts here before I started my nursing school many years ago. Yesterday, I've passed my AANP - adult gerontology primary care on first try. I feel like it is time to give back to our virtual community. I started my comprehensive board review on 5/1/2019 & took my board on 5/30/2019. Resources that I used: Amelie Hollier - online live review, board vitals, PSI testings & APEA predictor exams. I started from Amelie Hollier live review & finished 2 of the practice questions that are available with the online live review package. I love it; however, i wish the rationales come with it. I also reviewed the comprehensive review book by Amelie Hollier. I felt a little overwhelmed with the contents because I had hard time to focus & to learn WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT details for the board exam. I purchased the Board Vitals q-bank. I finished all sections, I type all the notes & rationales so I can go back & review. I skipped the "professionalism" section as this is not part of the AANP board exam. I learned a lot from the rationales from Board Vitals. There are more than 1200 questions. The perks of Board Vitals: the q-banks include questions from Fitzgerald & Leik. I took PSI practice exams. I score 80%. The PSI practice exams questions are pretty straightforward when compared to Board Vitals questions. I purchased predictor tests & practice questions from APEA. On predictor exams, I scored 67% & 71%. Rationales are available with these purchase & are very helpful. On 5/30, I took my AANP board & passed. In my opinion, Amelie Hollier is right. When answering the questions, we must consider first-line therapy as NON-pharmacology, life style modification & least invasive. I hope this will help the students that will be taking board. Please feel free to message me if questions. Good luck to you all.
