Fastest Route Possible?
before this gets moved to the NP forum. I think if you want to look at other options the military might be best for you, they will cover your debt and make you an officer, go reserves so you wont have to leave your base, then you can go back to school and take things from there. nursing has its pros and cons and maybe you can even apply to the military medical program, trust me in the military there is a waiver for everything. I will be happy to give you more information if you would like to shoot me an email, [email protected]

Crna school
wow some of you guys are a piece of work. This person just asked, being mean about it isn't the way. hey feel free to email me [email protected]. Other than that, yes shadowing is great. go to a website allcrna and they have quite an extensive wealth of information. I have been researching since 2010, got in and still had questions up to as recent as a week. anyway good luck on your journey.

Gay and Lesbian SRNAs attending AANA Seattle Conference
I am confused. In the interview no one is asked if they are gay or straight or any of the other identities. How is this correlated to a lack of diversity? I am not even being facetious with this post. I am asking to gain insight on how ones sexual orientation is even brought up within the process of becoming an anesthesia provider. When speak about race, ethnicity and other phenotypes expressed clearly, then we can look at certain relationships. Is it that there is a fear of saying they are gay that stops them from applying? Then with that regard, should one feel threatened to talk about that one time they forgot to hang Lasix until 2 hours later, a mistake we don't need to know about and we leave out during the interview process when selling what we bring to the table. So again help my ignorance on your thinking and even why this is relevant within medicine as a group?

Anyone applied to St Mary's
So I called the school directly. They said that they cannot release any information, but once they receive acceptance from the director they will send emails the next day, then they will send letters out in the mail. So check emails I say for now.

RN considering CRNA school
Would you mind telling the areas you are thinking of attending or it does not matter? If I have an idea then I could better give you my 2 cents.

financial advice before attending CRNA school???
Please ignore the first comment. Things will work out, swallow your pride and actual worse case scenario would be giving up that car by selling it and getting a cheaper used one if need be. I have two cars both under 10k and both used and both running for that just in case when I do get accepted. The reason I think most people wait is based on a fear of feeling they are not ready. I say go for it and dont look back. Again ignore the first comment. I am a realist, but that is not even a realistic thing. Something else may happen that you are not able to account for. So like Nike just do it.

Anyone applied to St Mary's
Prospective Students - Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia this website has also changed, it states the waitlist is at 0 so we can see how it goes over the next few weeks from here on out. I use this for updates as well, prior it had 4 being waitlisted for 2017 and noting about accepting for 2018.
