Nurses of Rasmussen
I've recently completed a BS in Behavioral Healthcare. My next goal is to get into nursing school. I have Anatomy and Physiology I/II to complete along with Human Nutrition. I am looking into two programs in Tampa; LMU (new) and Rasmussen. However, my current relationship determines where I'll be living so I'll be applying to colleges near Polk County if I move back in with my parents. Are there any students or Nurses that have completed their degree at Rasmussen? What did you think of the program? And did you find any difficulties finding employment and passing the NCLEX exam? I'm mostly heard bad things about Rasmussen. I will also complete applications for USF, UCF, FAU, PSC, and Valencia. If I cannot get into a BSN program I'll try for an ASN program and hopefully will be able to get into USF's ASN to MSN program. The overall goal is to become a NP and continue working with those that suffer from addictions and mental disorders.

UCF 2017 Accelerated Nursing Program
Droot & Lanntis, thank you for answering my questions. Does anyone know if they're using Teas 5 or 6 for testing? I'm a bit confused. I've seen some forums mentioning the Teas 5. I'm also thinking about purchasing this to prepare: ATI TEAS Secrets Study Guide: TEAS 6 Complete Study Manual, Full-Length Practice Tests, Review Video Tutorials for the Test of Essential Academic Skills, Sixth Edition ATI TEAS Secrets Study Guide: TEAS 6 Complete Study Manual, Full-Length Practice Tests, Review Video Tutorials for the Test of Essential Academic Skills, Sixth Edition

UCF 2017 Accelerated Nursing Program
Hello, I'll soon be graduating with a Bachelors in another field. Next year I intend to apply for the accelerated program, but in the mean time I'd like to get the prerequisites out of the way, most of which I have B's in. Part of me wonders if I should retake those. I'm wondering if I were to complete my prerequisites at community college would that be an issue with transferring those credits? Does anyone know how that works?
