For those of you that were waitlisted: My email says we have until June 9th to confirm our position in the program. I imagine that after that day you all may hear something about if there are any spots available to be offered to you. I also know that you can call and ask what number you are on the waitlist. @kcove I don't know when we start registering either, but it is bugging me too, haha! Right now I have an empty schedule for Fall and it is making me nervous because I don't want to be charged late registration fees. Hopefully they will let us know soon! I am still listed as Pre-Nursing on my degree audit so maybe when they actually change us to Nursing we will be able to. Like I said above, it will probably be in a few weeks after they have the final list verified of who will for sure be attending.

I am also surprised at how quickly decisions came! I have never heard of it being in May. I was also accepted as a native UF student! Congratulations!

I agree with what was said above. I recently took Anatomy and Physiology II as well. Unfortunately my teacher wasn't as lenient as yours was, I had to work pretty hard but I got an A . Remember that other students besides those who are pre-nursing take these classes as well. Some students are actually A&P majors, and really do need to know very specific details. For nursing, you do need a good basis but you don't have to be an A&P genius. That being said, if you really do not know anything at all, I would advise watching some youtube videos! I really like the channel called CrashCourse, it has great animations and explanations. Best of luck!

According to someone who talked to the dean yesterday, admission decisions are being prepared to send out currently. So the decisions are done they're just organizing everything to send. We should find out next week. Probably Friday, June 2nd if I had to guess, they came out June 3rd (Friday) last year.

The assessment was interesting. It wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be. It was difficult because I had trouble deciding which character attribute to put at the bottom of the lists. I wonder how much weight they are putting on the test. At this point, it seems like maybe UF should just start doing an interview like USF does. The assessment in addition to the essays kind of feels like an interview would I guess, but without physically being there.

Hey everyone, I have submitted my application for cycle 2, and I was just wondering if anyone knew approximately when interviews for cycle 2 will be held? I know the due date is June 2nd, so I imagined it would be late June? If anybody has any information it would be much appreciated!

Yes, I also figured it had to do with the fact they are looking at more than just GPA this year. I guess there's really no way to know. I just answered all the questions honestly and poured my heart out in my essays. We can only hope for the best.

I definitely agree! I am very intrigued as to why they would add this on almost a month after applications were due. Does it mean that they had too many applicants and are trying to narrow down the pool? If they were planning on doing it in the first place I am sure they would have had it due when applications were, so that means they decided to do it after receiving apps. Either way, yes, paying more money for this application made me a little perturbed. I have not yet taken the assessment. I am a little scared regarding the cryptic wording they used in the email. I have no idea what the actual assessment is on or is about, you know? Is it like a personality test or...? Bleeeeh
