  1. Hi everyone! Really struggling as I make this choice. I got accepted at Carrington College in Reno to start in May. The two other schools in the area (1 state and 1 community college) have huge waiting lists at this time so those are not a possibility. My question is, should I go this route now that I am accepted, or is it better for me to pack up and commute to Sacramento for the BSN? I do have my BS in Liberal Studies, but I will have to do many of the pre-reqs again (which will take a while) and leave my current home life... coming home with a 2 hour commute on the weekend. Will this ADN get me going? Or is this a complete waste of time? Especially since the cost of CC is pretty pricey. I've read many of the threads on here stating that most places of employment will prefer a BSN. I was going to continue education post graduation and once I am employed. Thank you so much for your insight on my dilemma as well as any thoughts on Carrington College. :)
