  1. New Nurse? Can I get a job in Informatics right away

    Hey guys. I just graduated nursing school and I will be taking the nclex shortly. I wanted to know if I can get a job in informatics right away? I don't have a degree in IT but I'm really skilled with computers as I have learned to do a lot on my own. I know how to build websites, I know SQL, and some phython. In addition, I am an excellent speaker and I am very good at networking. The question I am trying to ask is, can I get a job in informatics right away. Secondly, can I get into any other area of a hospital position besides staff nurse while utilizing my BSN degree? Thoughts. Thank you in advance! -John
