  1. Yea, I would go to bcit instead.
  2. I just received an email about being top 10 on the hold list. So check your inbox.
  3. I had around a 3.65 but for those of you who are waitlisted I will be dropping out of TRU's program as I got into a school closer to home (I live in Vancouver).
  4. Lol no, I did a year of the psych nursing program and it was super interesting but I'd rather do RN since it has wider scope and it's more "medical". For me, psych nursing was more of a safety net while I was applying to rn programs.
  5. Hi everyone, I got accepted off the wait list today too, I had around a 3.6. I think I already stumbled across the Facebook group though. I already paid 500 for my tuition deposit at TRU for their nursing program but it looks like I'm gonna leave that behind. I'm also still waiting on bcit to get back to me as I moved on in their application process.
  6. I just opened a word document and wrote out my answers in there and then copy and pasted into the word box. The quiz is fairly easy, only 4 interview style questions and you have 90 minutes.
  7. I'm not sure why that is, but at kpu, sfu and bcit they all gave me a letter grade with my gpa on a 4.33 scale on my transcripts. I estimate that an 82 is around a 3.68ish.
  8. I have been short listed as well and have just completed the online quiz that was required. I have completed on year in a psychiatric nursing program at KPU and have completed one year at SFU, and a part time (English) class at BCIT. I volunteered at Surrey Memorial Hospital for around 2 years and also at a long term care home for around 2.5 years. My GPA is around 3.62.
  9. I had a 3.65 post secondary average on a 4.33 scale. However, I think my letter of introduction really helped me because I did one year of a psychiatric nursing program so I have some experience of what it's like to be in a program like this
  10. I got the acceptance email yesterday too. I'm from Vancouver as well so I'll be moving down nearer to September. I'm glad to have this summer off from any school though!
